As HASOM Bags grows, we continue to seek ways to be mindful in all we do.
All the fabrics used come from old sheets, table cloths, curtains, and discarded fabric.
The thread is made from recycled plastic bottles.
The fabric logos on the bag are made from organic cotton using digital print process that use water-based pigment inks and dyes, with very little waste.
Paper tags are made of reused food boxes and recycled paper.
The business cards are made of recycled paper and printed with soy ink.
The materials we use to ship our products in are reused boxes and packaging materials collected from local businesses.
The energy we use is from 100% non-polluting wind and solar sources.
We donate 25% of our proceeds to our local foodbank.
Small scraps of fabric are made into other projects like book marks. Any leftover waste in the manufacture process is recycled; such as printer ink cartridges, thread spools, etc.
Other materials used in making the bags are from recycled or used items as much as possible.
